Percy Doughty & Company has been established since 1952 fundamentally to supply solid fuel spare parts to the social housing sector. The business evolved over the years adding fireplaces & associated products to the portfolio.
1990, Percy Doughty purchased ‘Fires & Parts’ which now operates as a satellite distribution depot, based in Grangemouth, Scotland covering the entire Scottish region.
1995, The birth of ‘The Gallery Collection’ range of fireplaces, which has developed into the market leader in Victorian style fireplaces, fireplace suites, stoves & accessories.
2000, Baxi Burnall solid fuel appliance section was purchased & now the rights to market & manufacture appliances & spares, is solely owned by Percy Doughty & Co.
2005, Investment into Focus group, the largest importer of fireplaces & accessories in the UK, with an equity stake securing a percentage stake within the group of companies.

Tiger Cub – Small in Design, Big on heat - 10/03/2017
Percy Doughty & Co based in Bolton, are a UK market leader in solid fuel spares, fireplaces, stoves & accessories. Selling directly to the trade since 1952 are pleased to announce the arrival of the newest member of the Tiger Stove Family, the Tiger Cub!
This little stove is small in design but big on efficiencies! The newest addition to the range was developed as a perfect solution for heating smaller spaces and is ideal for workshops, holiday homes and Narrow boats as well as smaller living spaces. Despite its compact size the new freestanding multi-fuel stove offers a heat output of 4kW and an efficiency rating of 81%.
Superb quality and a great design, the Tiger Cub is designed for a hardworking, long life. Packed with the same great features as the other Tiger models, the main body is manufactured using one single iron casting with no joints or seals to fail. Vermiculite brick lining, cast iron throat plate and door.
Every Tiger is supplied with cool-touch door handle and a heat proof mitten. All stoves are CE approved and manufactured to the highest of specifications in cast iron for solid dependability. Also available is an optional heat shield for use when fitting in caravans or narrow boats.

The Percy Doughty website has been be redesigned with user-friendly navigation and has been updated with the latest information about our products. We also wanted to give our customers an opportunity to know us better, and the background to the product range.
The presentation of the products in the Products section has been improved with more technical information, pictures and videos.
We have made the warranty section more streamlined allowing product registration, service calls, and a comprehensive troubleshooting section.
One of the most significant improvements to the website is the new retailer section which allows you to search for our nationwide network of dealers.
