Installation of biomass appliances

A brand new course has been launched by the centre for alternative technology. The brand new Hetas approved short course has been announced and is due to start this spring.The course will teach the technical skills needed to become an accredited installer of bio-mass heating systems.

Hetas are a recognised government body that approve biomass and solid fuel heating appliances and as more and more people are turning to the use of solid fuel and biomass appliances as a means to heat their homes installer courses are becoming more popular. The first course is due to begin in March and will be held at the centre for alternative technology.

Successful completion of the CAT biomass course will allow registrants of Hetas to install biomass appliances as well as advise on different types of fuel and appropriate storage.
