Bringing a bit of Jurassic World into your home

As Jurassic World once again tops the box office charts this weekend, MARC, the Manufacturers' Association of Radiators and Convectors suggests that the humble radiator, used in 85% of UK homes as the primary source of heat emission can be much more than a white steel panel.

The Thermosaurus Radiator is a heat exchanger with a Tyrannosaurus as a backbone, is made of made of cast iron, and installs just like a regular central-heating radiator. John Colling of MARC said “The radiator has come a long way, they no longer take up a large amount of wall space or have to be turned up high to produce warmth and comfort, they work well with low water temperatures, driving up system efficiency.

Style has also come a long way too, radiators are now available in a vast array of colours and designs, many are a piece of artwork in their own right.
