The
wood pellet stove is a relatively new concept to the UK, although
they have been widely used in both North America and parts of
Europe for many years.
Using pellets made from the by-products of the wood processing
industry, these are automatically fed into the wood pellet stove
to maintain the demand for heat and hot water.
There is now a UK network of pellets suppliers that use sustainable
sources of wood, and with the new environmental awareness wood
pellet stoves are growing in popularity.
